PearlCoat itself is semi translucent and has no color.    When applied to a white polyester( thru and thru coloring) it appears as white coating.  when applied to a clear polyester and put over images it appears to be almost invisible.

the clear PearlCoat is very clear and does not not distort the underlying material to any appreciable extent..    So far we have only made a few small samples on clear film but below are photos showing the actual samples......... .
